Welcome to the world, little one...
From the quiet anticipation to the moment you meet your baby,
birth sessions document every powerful, emotional, once-in-a-lifetime moment with honesty, tenderness, and care.
What is birth photography?
Birth photography captures the story of your baby’s arrival with honesty, care, and deep respect for your experience.
Whether you choose labor and delivery coverage, a Fresh 48 session, or both, these images preserve the emotions, connection, and details of the day your life changed forever.
You do not have to worry about posing or performing. My approach is quiet, unobtrusive, and documentary-focused so you can stay fully present in the moment.
Labor & Delivery vs. Fresh 48
Labor & Delivery
- On-Call beginning at 37/38 weeks
- Coverage during active labor, delivery, and the first moments after your baby is born
- For families who want the full story documented
I arrive when active labor begins and stay through your baby’s arrival and those first precious moments together. The tears, the anticipation, the support, the first cry, and the way you look at your baby for the very first time are all preserved naturally and respectfully.
Fresh 48
- 24-48 hours after your baby is born
- Usually done in the hospital, birth center, or at home
- For families who want newborn details without labor and delivery coverage
Fresh 48 sessions capture the sweet, sleepy, brand-new moments shortly after your baby arrives. Tiny fingers, wrinkled toes, first yawns, siblings & grandparents meeting the baby, and the overwhelming joy of those first hours together.
What the Experience Looks Like:
Step 1: Reach out! Once you inquire, we’ll talk through your due date, birth preferences, and whether labor & delivery, Fresh 48, or both are the best fit for you!
Step 2: Reserve your due date. A signed contract and retainer officially reserve your place on my calendar. Because birth photography requires being on-call, I only take a limited number of due dates each month.
Step 3: On-Call Coverage. Beginning around 37–38 weeks, I remain on-call and ready whenever labor begins. Camera stays nearby and ready, and my phone is always on top volume so I don't miss any important calls or texts!
Step 4: Gallery Delivery! You’ll receive sneak peeks within 24–48 hours and your full gallery shortly after, filled with the moments you may have missed in the middle of it all.
You will never regret having these memories.
One day, your baby won't fit in your arms like they did in those first hours of their life.
These photos become so much more than images.
They are proof of what this moment felt like.
